Who we are...

If there ever was an army that marched on its stomach, it was the Roman army. The breads and grains its soldiers lived on were the fuel which powered an empire. It was a time of small shops and artisan craftsmen, of farmers and landowners, all working together toward a common goal. The work and work ethic of those early farmers and soldiers serve as an inspiration for us today.

If the Roman army won battles because its soldiers were disciplined, tough, and resilient, the Roman Empire won wars because its generals were innovative and resourceful. They were willing to take on new challenges; to conquer new lands.
